Jesus came that you might have life, overflowing with good things (John 10:10)!  Here are some answers for how you can have joy in your life.  (For more information, check the Bible references included in parentheses.)

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God's Son.  He came to earth, lived a perfect life, died as a sacrifice for our sins, and came back to life so that we can live forever with God.  Now, Jesus sits at the right hand of God in Heaven, and He prays for us.  (John 1:14; Hebrews 10:10; 1 John 5:10-13; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20-21)

Why would Jesus die for you?
He loves you!  He died because of the joy of knowing you could live forever with God.  He wants to be with you.  (John 3:16; Hebrews 12:2)

What is sin?
Sin is any action that is not pleasing to God.  Everyone, even a good person, has sinned, and sin separates us from God. (James 4:17; Romans 3:23)

How can you have a relationship with God?
All you have to do is believe two things:
      1) Jesus died and came back to life for you.  (John 3:16)
      2) You have sinned and need God.  (Romans 10:9-10)
If you believe that, then tell God.  Pray this prayer (or something like it):
God, I know that I've messed up in my life.  I have sinned.  But, God, I believe in Your Son Jesus.  I believe He died for me and rose again.  So, I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins.  I want to live forever with You!

Now, what?
If you just prayed this prayer from your heart, then angels in Heaven are celebrating because you are saved!  We want to celebrate with you, too.  Please e-mail us and tell us about your experience.
You have just started a brand new life, a life with God.  The Bible says you've been born again.  There are some things that you can do to help you in your new Christian life.  Find a local church so that you can learn more about what it means to be a Christian.  Read the Bible; it's God's Word, and there's some really great stuff in there!  And pray.  Prayer is simply communication with God, and He really wants to talk with you!  (John 3:1-16; 1 Peter 1:2)
