What
is the purpose of JoyDance, Inc.?
Through JoyDance, Inc., Sara and Crystal want to teach about the joy
that comes with having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and how
that joy can be enhanced through Christian Dance.
Who
are the creators of JoyDance?
Sara Carey (right above) grew up loving to dance. A pastor's daughter from southern
Alabama, she has been a part of dance ministries in church from a young
age. She has studied sign language and was a cheerleader. All
of these styles of dance and expression have culminated in an ability to
creatively and joyfully show her love for Jesus.
Sara graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Special Education.
She and her husband now live in Charleston, South Carolina, with their
three children. They have recently planted a
church, King's Lighthouse, where they hope to equip people for ministry.
She also teaches weekly Worship Dance Classes in Mt. Pleasant, SC and travels
for JoyDance to teach at various dance conferences and workshops.

Crystal Clay
(left above) was also instrumental in creating JoyDance, Inc. God used her
background in web design to help create this site, as she was the original
webmaster. She currently leads the dance ministry at
StoneHouse Church to
the Nations in Williamsburg, Virginia. Crystal is also available for dance
conferences and workshops.
